Wandering

It will be next week at this time exactly when the movers are here.  Wrapping and packing, the tape stretching it's sound across the hollowed rooms.  It will be this time exactly next week when the page turns and our chapter in Georgia is complete.

But what a page-turner it has been!  Pages filled with life.  Pages with words of life during the first few months of Tirzah's being.  Cries of despair; kisses of healing hope.  Depths of discovery.  Babbling into these first steps of Motherhood.  Commands depicting service to one's Country. Whispers of worry; songs of Praise all written together to spell out life and to end with Amen.

Next week begins a new chapter~ a chapter of wandering.  As the Israelites wandered and yet were led by His mighty outstretched arm to the land chosen, so we will wander and yet be led to our new home, Ft. Lewis, Washington.  Wanderings will lead us to Raphine and to offer thanks with our family.  Wanderings will take us to Wheaton for celebrations of new life and beautifully-aging friendships.  We will wander through Colorado and from there?  Perhaps along the California Coast.  Or perhaps through Nevada and Oregon.  He will lead and we will follow and may there not be, as was the case with our forefathers, words of complaint and grumbling found upon our lips.  But rather, may the first words written in this new chapter of our family be words believing and proclaiming:

His plan, His victory, His strength, His provision.

Might you join with us in prayer for our trip?  In areas where worry is tempting: the travel's effect upon sweet Baby Girl, acclimating to the 3 hour time change.  In specific areas: timing of arrival to Ft. Lewis, transition time for Daniel into his new unit, meeting of his new commanders and more importantly, meeting his platoon and the men he will be leading in combat.  Please pray over the search for our new home, for long-suffering in the travel, and flexibility amidst all the changes.
HE is unchanging and may we have eyes to see and hearts to cling.

Thank you.
