These gifts that are freely received, that are quickly approaching the 1,000 mark, that are simple yet what this life is all about:
947. Back scratches
958. Tirzah and her love of all things dirty
960. Designing the garden plot
962. Playing catch with my husband, barefoot on the front lawn on an Easter afternoon

968. The feeling of Spring!
970. Lingering long and dreaming big
971. Tirzah playing musical puddles: a dabble here and a dabble there
973. Cookie baking date with girl friends! (that turned into a picnic on the living room floor since the rain had begun it's drizzle)
974. That she doesn't care about the weather: she just loves to be outside.
976. When she laughs all filled with contentment when given her "Blankie"
I am loving green smoothies with my daughter in the morning. Daniel... not so sure about this "green smoothie" idea. But Auntie Renee started them a year ago and we are just now jumping on board. Absolutely delicious! Our CSA lets us pick as many greens as we want so Tirzah and I are always found over in the kale patch, picking for our morning's smoothie. Our combo this morn was:
Several handfuls of kale
about 1 C fresh made yogurt
2 T frozen apple juice concentrate
1 banana frozen
1/4 c frozen blueberries
1 whole avocado
What I love too about the mornings: worship music. Putting Pandora on Praise and Worship and getting our minds right for the day. Worshipping over green smoothies... yes please!
I'm loving that it is the weekend. A special day is in store for Daniel! Although there will be slight changes as he had to go to work this morn. However, Tirzah and I decorated some index cards that we delivered to him just this morn. Included are coupons for:
a trip to the coast, a hike, or staying at home (it was his choice but as it is so late now, I think we will go with the latter)
a trip to Jamba Juice and or Starbucks
A snack stop (just imaging what he won't be able to get while he is away and knowing his all encompassing love of sweets and snacking... most especially on the weekends)
Five Guys for dinner this evening!
Movie night... his choice
New journals (we both need a new one ad it is perfect timing as we enter this next season)
I'm loving that we found 3 sugar snap pea sprouts, pushing through this morning to bid the sunshine a sweet hello. Glory!
I'm loving meeting a new friend and her daughters at the park, just hours ago.
I'm loving friends who care to enter my world and listen
I'm loving my personal shopper! (Thanks Renee :))
What do you find yourself loving this day? May our hearts and minds be open to His gifts as we enjoy this weekend! Blessings to you and yours!
