What I'm Loving Wednesday

Sorry that this post is a day late!  We have been slowly but surely reacquainting ourselves back onto Washington time and the day simply just got away from me yesterday.

So albeit a day late, here is What I'm LOVING

LOVING the memories and pictures made our last few days in Hawaii

Tirzah LOVES the water!

This is the second house we stayed in with a family friend

LOVED playing Bananagrams each night with Miss Kate

This was at the airport on our last night in Hawaii

Praise God that flight was over!  This was right ater we landed in Washington

LOVING that Oahu means "The Gathering Place", indeed it is our family's gathering place

LOVING a bowl full of Washington cherries in the middle of the table

LOVING our new iPod!  Daniel requested one so he might have a chance to steal away for a moment and listen to some music.  I am really enjoying loading pictures and videos for him, and some wonderful new country music.  LOVING how he will LOVE to receive it and how it will bless him in these next months of deployment.

LOVING our garden and the joy it is to bring in the harvest.  Marlene and I harvested some calendula yesterday morning after the dew was gone.  We are drying it in hopes of making some tea, some salve, and some soap!

LOVING lattes every morning with Marlene

LOVING reading The Shaping of  Christian Family by Elisabeth Elliot with Marlene.  My sweet friend Mary loaned me her copy and then another dear friend mailed her copy for Marlene to use!  We are reading 5 chapters a day and then discussing them together in the evenings over another item I am LOVING: Java Chip ice cream from Starbucks.  Can an evening between 2 women get any better?!

Always and forever more I am LOVING my husband with whom I feel so close, though the miles and the days are in between
