Here is What I'm Loving today
LOVING this video of Yoyo and Tirzah from her visit last week. The sounds of delight-filled screams and laughter echoed through the house all week long: what a joy it was to see their relationship in action!
LOVING Tirzah as a zebra last week for Halloween. . . and my did she LOVE the concept of Halloween. She would merrily walk on her way, say "treat" and then get so excited when the treat was actually placed in her little bucket. But by the end of the night, she was starting to get picky about which treat she got! Silly little lady! She also LOVED handing out the candy. Marlene, Lucy, and Tirzah sat on the front porch and waited with great anticipation for the trick-or-treaters. And then when it was time for dinner, all three of them would jump up from the table and run with such excitement towards the door. Lucy and Tirzah would hand out the candy and Marlene would always say: "aaaahhhh, we're so glad you came!" Just precious.

LOVING how she loves treats. She is just like her Daddy in that way! (although, her Mama loves treats too. . . but I can't yet decide if she is more like Daniel in that she likes gummies, or if she is like me in that she likes chocolate. . . right now, she just LOVES it all!) Each night after dinner we dump out her little bucket-full of candy so that she can choose one treat. She just has one lollipop left, and then the Halloween candy is gone! (we sent all the rest overseas. . .)
LOVING Bible Study Fellowship. I went for my first time this morning with one of my good girlfriends and her baby girl. My dear neighbor in Colorado and her husband have been a part of BSF for several years and their zeal for the study has always encouraged and inspired me, so I was so thankful when Libby said she was going to a group on Wednesday mornings! Tirzah LOVED the nursery time there as well. She was actually crying when we had to leave, and that has never happened before!
However, going to BSF this morning caused something that I am not LOVING today.
Do these pictures of our house, or namely our roof make you think of anything in this past month?? Yeah. That's right. It happened again. Ugh!!
But different situation this time. So Libby and Jane came to pick us up this morning, and since that moment when I was putting her carseat in the car, I have absolutely no idea where my keys are. We went to BSF and had a wonderful time and it wasn't until we were back in front of the house that I began to panic. I do NOT LOVE how absent minded I am! See what having my husband away for 7 months does to this mind of mine?! But at least this time, my baby was not locked inside sleeping!! That's progress, right?!
So I knew the drill this time. I went to the back to grab the ladder and Libby held down one side while watching the 2 toddlers. I climbed up but didn't think I could do it, so climbed down. Libby climbed up and surveyed the scene, and then she too climbed down. I just had to try one more time, so up I went, and this time, I made it! But the scary part was you had nothing to grab onto to hoist yourself up onto the roof! So literally, my hand was underneath the tiles, fingers all the way stretched out trying to glue myself to the rooftop. Somehow, I got up, and somehow I got over to the window (I think having barefeet helped) and got to the window and climbed through. Whew! I was shaking for about 2 hours afterwords... not LOVING that adventure so much.
And I know you are thinking that I am so ridiculous. . . because that is exactly what I have been thinking the whole day! But, just to allay your fears and concerns, we went out, right when she woke up, and went to the Home Depot and had 3 copies made! I also got a new bracelet to attach my keys too. . . and they threw it in for free. LOVING that.
As always, and more and more every day, I am LOVING my husband and my best friend
