Slowly emerging. . .

Slowly emerging from our "wondrous and joyful hush". . .

His Welcome Home basket!

Table set with heirloom dishes from Great Grandmother

This is Tirzah, at the homecoming ceremony, an hour or so before they were released to us.  She was running all over the place, going around to everyone saying "My Daddy!  My Daddy!"

Listening to see if Daddy is on the other side of the curtain yet

And this is her, dancing in front of everyone!  She was LOVING life!

Now, sadly, Tirzah deleted the video that we had of the curtain going up that revealed Daniel to us.  BUT, here is a link to the unit's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Tomahawks423IN  Scroll down the page until you see the video Reveal of Main Body 5.  That will show the curtain going up!!  There is another video of "Release of Main Body 5"  Look for me at the end in a mustard colored sweater trying to find him!  It seemed like forever. . . it was probably like 10 seconds but it truly felt like forever until we found one another.  And then, if you click on the Main Body 5 photo albums, you will see some of us as well!  One of Tirzah being passed to her Daddy!

And one last video, I took with Marlene in mind, the heros, returned home, saluting once again for their National Anthem.

This is how Tirzah looked at her Daddy for the first 15 minutes. . . like, "are you really here?!"

OH JOYOUS REUNION!!!

We were so thankful: Danae came down that first Saturday he was home so that we might slip away together.  We were ever so grateful for that time away!  Went to Seattle for an amazing local dinner, and then a night at the hotel, which was located right above Pike Place Market.

SO much more to come. . . !
