Our Georgia Peach!

Well, we made it!  We have been in our new Georgia home for the past 2 weeks and we are really loving it.  It has been quite the transition, but the Lord is good and what He does is good (Psalm 119:68).  We moved into our townhouse on the 24th of February and enjoyed a simple life of eating dinners and hanging out on the floor and sleeping on an air mattress until our house hold goods were delivered that following Monday.

It went well for our first move: thankfully nothing was lost nor broken!  I have to admit that the process was a bit overwhelming: 5 guys carried everything we owned into our new home, and looked to us to tell them where to put it all.  There was box upon box in every room, making it hard to get around!  Once they were done, Daniel and I jumped to it and worked on getting the kitchen and the living room situated.  We are so pleased with everything now and so thankful for the extra space!  Tirzah didn't even mind the whole process either, she rather enjoyed hanging out in the boxes for a while!
Daniel is just finishing up his fist week of IBOLC.  The days have been filled with paperwork, medical exams, gear issuing, and his first PT test, consisting of 2 minutes of push ups, 2 minutes of sit ups, a 2 mile run, and then pull ups.  He was pleased with his performance and Tirzah and I are so proud!  He has had to report at 4:45 almost every morning, meaning the alarm goes off at 3:30 and he is out the door by 4.  Needless to say we are so thankful it is the weekend and he can catch up on some rest!  But he has kept the best attitude and has not uttered a complaint.
Tirzah and I have spent the days sleeping, getting the house organized, and spending time with our new friend Anna.  We are SO thankful to have found a good friend in these first 2 weeks!  It just so happens that she is our neighbor and her husband is in Daniel's platoon.  It is a blessing to be able to walk to her house to borrow a cup of sugar, or just to have a little company during the day.
Praise the Lord everything is going better than imagined!
We are ever so thankful for your prayers!  The grace of the Lord is good.
So proud of my Daddy!

Loving our new home!!!
