Here is what I am Loving today in Parker, Colorado!!
LOVING being in Colorado with my family.
LOVING that Tirzah did SO well on her first airplane trip! She was such a doll. She did have a few cries, but overall she was the sweetest little girl on board. She was awake for 2 hours of the trip, and then fell into a deep deep sleep for the last hour. I was so thankful to have my Mom on one side, and Meredith on the other!
LOVING that my brother, who is now Uncle Michael, was able to meet Tirzah yesterday! Just to show how incredible he is: he changed his flight just so he could spend a few hours with his niece. So, they met for the first time yesterday morning at 5:10 am Colorado time (Tirzah and I are still on East Coast time...) and they loved each other from the start.
LOVING that when Tirzah wakes from her morning nap, we will, along with my Mom, go visit my very good friend from high school and college, Hillary! Her baby girl Kennedy is just 7 weeks old now and we will get to meet her for the first time. Hillary's Mom will be there as well, so 2 sets of three generations will be gathered together. Praise the Lord! (Hill is on the far right below)
LOVING that all the girls come in tomorrow night for our annual reunion. I can hardly wait to be all together again. What memories will be created.
LOVING that it is Day 19 of 21 for Mountain Phase for Daniel!! Here is what he will be doing today:
"This day will focus on cleaning your equipment and weapons in preparation to turn in the next day. You can expect to clean your crew-served weapons all day. Additionally, you will receive your end of the course counseling. At this time, you will know whether you passed or failed your patrol. For meals, you will eat both breakfast and dinner in the mess hall and be able to participate in the Dog-ex later the night. The Dog-ex for this phase is typically much better and larger than the one you received at Camp Darby. For this Dog-ex you will likely pay $10 for 4 hot dogs, a large bag of chips, 2 large candy bars, and 2 sodas."
LOVING that I will most likely receive a call from Daniel over his pass either tomorrow or Friday! I can hardly stand it! Just to hear his voice will be such refreshment for my soul.
Forever and always LOVING my wonderful husband
