A moment in time

Moments in time.  Here for their brief life and then gone.  So hard to grasp hold of.  So hard to drink in, savor, and remember.  But so good too.  These moments that make up a life.  These moments that made up our journey across our Country, winding through 16 different states.  Moments created and sustained by the Creator of Time.

On our family hike

Greg's GREAT leap

Daniel's hand-crafted tree stand

Just about to begin the 1st annual Deer Dash!

Tirzah is thinking: I am SO happy it is over!

Aunt Tanya hand-stitched this gorgeous quilt for Tirzah.  Isn't it unbelievable?!  Truly a work of art.  What a gift of time and talent for the whole family to enjoy.

Tirzah's first Thanksgiving.  Her favorite: homemade macaroni and cheese!

Daniel's first deer!  We were so pleased.

Entering into Utah.

A moment in time.  A gift of grace to add to the list.  The road came to a peak at the top of the Utah mountain and just as we rounded it's peak and began to descend, we caught glimpse of it.  The full moon, a silver pendant hanging in a glassy sky.  It's light was pure and how beautifully huge it seemed to us.  We, so small amidst a home of rugged mountains scratching the sky and the rounded moon hung in Time.

A moment in time.  One more of these endless gifts that draw us near to the Maker of the Universe.  A blanket of white that cradled the Oregon Valley.  As far as the eye could see the quilt of white lay, hand-stitched with love.

A moment in time.  Entering into, enveloping ourselves, wrapping ourselves in this mysterious blanket of white, to a world below, frozen white in Time.

Moments in time that have led our family here, to our new home, on the Puget Sound.  Moments of breathless wonder yesterday as we explored.

Exploring moments of endless beauty and bounty, moments of ceaseless wonder!
