The Children's Museum

Here is What I'm Loving this day!

What are you Loving?

LOVING having my Mama here. What a blessing it is to have her constant presence in the house.  I turn around and the dishes are down, the clothes are washed and folded, and the baby is always in good hands.  How do I ever do this by myself?!

LOVING watching Tirzah grow and change, even by the day.  Yesterday we took her to the Children's Museum in Olympia and she loved it.  She played diligently and by herself for well over an hour.  What a joy it was so see her hard at work, driving the school bus, buying bread, picking vegetables, playing in the water, and building with sand.  She is such a joy bug!

LOVING my Mom's playful side.  Indeed I looked away to watch Tirzah in the toddler play area at the museum and when I looked back, I found Grandmom on the floor playing away on her xylophone.

LOVING building book towers and then watching them fall

LOVING the definition of a REFUGE (as we pray Psalm 31 over my husband and his men... In you O Lord, do I take REFUGE)

Refuge: That which shelters or protects from danger, distress, or calamity; a stronghold which protects by it's strength or a sanctuary which secures safety by its sacredness; ay place inaccessible to the enemy.

LOVING Downton Abbey with my Mama: snuggled on the couch every night to watch an episode... yes please!

LOVING these gifts that are endless as we seek to give thanks for all things, even in the hard seasons:

22. English breakfast tea with a touch of milk and honey

23.  The first night done

26.  When she walks with her hands behind her back

27.  Yellow warblers at play in our front-yard willow

28. His smell that lingers on these t-shirts

34.  Strawberry stickiness all around her mouth

37.  The first email from him

38.  A fever's cry in the night

40.  She fell asleep again and so did I

43.  That we had food to feed her when she was hungry

46. That summer's night You gave us before he left

47.  Emails from Cameron

49.  The two lady redheads and their picnics on the floor (my Mother and my Daughter)

50.  Her little "stool"

53.  The 3 girls snuggled on the couch watching Veggie Tales for the first time

55.  A letter from a sweet friend: thank you Taylor!

57. Sharing lattes and chocolate grahams with my Mama

61.  The Olympic mountains from Morning's window- highlighted through the trees in early morning light

64.  A nap together!  mama on the couch and I tucked into his green chair

LOVING him more and more, waiting for my Soldier to come back again
