Christmas Picnic

Here is What I'm LOVING today!

LOVING the pictures from our family week last week

LOVING using my china from my Grandmother for our Thanksgiving table

Tirzah was LOVING having a job. . . and walking a real dog!

Dad LOVED his Christmas and birthday present: a successful day out on the river!

Tirzah is LOVING her new toys for Christmas. . . especially this special wooden train from Uncle "Mall" and Auntie "Nae"

LOVING skyping with Daniel!

Tirzah is LOVING Barney and Thomas the Train

Tirzah is LOVING her homemade playdough!

LOVING reading and being Grandmom

Michael and Dad were LOVING looking at old pictures together

Elliott was LOVING resting and being in the midst of family life

I LOVED having Danae cook for us so much!

LOVING the ladies

LOVING long emails with my husband

LOVING Bible Study Fellowship this morning

LOVING our Christmas tree!  I wasn't planning on getting one this season as most of our time will be spent with Daniel's family, but I decided on a whim over the weekend to get one and I am so thankful that we did!  It is amazing what a change one little tree can make!

Tirzah was LOVING the decorating.  Oh my goodness!  She was having the time of her life!  Here she is putting on Daddy's shoes so that she can go in the garage to get more decorations!

LOVING our picnic this afternoon in front of our tree.  A blanket? Check.  Popcorn? Check  Christmas music? Check.  Apple slices and cheese?  Check.  Drink from Starbucks? Check (and don't judge too harshly that I serve my daughter popcorn for lunch. . . it is a whole grain. . . right?!)

LOVING the smell of homemade potpurri simmering on the stove

LOVING that 7 months of deployment are complete!!  We are doing it!  If I can just get through these next 2 weeks, we have it made.  Hallelujah!

Speaking of deployment, if you have in mind to send any more packages to Daniel and his platoon, the cut-off date for mail is this saturday, December 1.  A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has served my husband and our family in this way over these months: the care packages have truly carried him through!  We just sent off our last package on Monday and it felt like such an accomplishment!  The count-down of "last things" has begun!!

LOVING having a new friend over for dinner

LOVING filling our days with friend dates.

Always and always and more and more I am LOVING my husband
