Just a bit...

Just a tiny little post. . .

still LOVING the slow time with my husband, thus, having a hard time finding desire to do anything but be with him :)  So, just a short post so you know I am still thinking of you all. . .

Manna Monday

How have you seen the Lord provide this day?

*The sweetest welcome!  To Hannah Lee Willson, baby daughter of Steve and Meredith (remember Meredith from Manna Mondays?!)  Born last Monday morning: a healthy, beautiful baby girl.  Praise the Lord!  And such provisions abounding in her arrival: that Mereidth's Mama was there just in time for labor to begin (since Steve is deployed right now), and that Meredith was able to deliver without having a C-Section!

*Their first Daddy-Daughter date!  Daniel took Tirzah on a sweet little outing on Saturday afternoon, just the 2 of them.  They went to Cabela's, of all places, and had the best time.  Seeing the huge fish in the huge tanks, seeing all the animals, pretend driving of all the boats. . . what could be better?  And Mama?  I had the sweetest time with a blanket, a cup of tea, the cozy window seat, and Kisses from Katie   (Thank you so much Hopie for this gift! )  I HIGHLY suggest reading this!

*The sweetest time together!  Daniel surprised me yesterday with the mention of a morning away.  Such provision in almost a full day out!  My dear friend Alison took Little One for the full morning, while Daniel and I slipped away out to breakfast at one of our favorite Olympia local hotspots: The Bread Peddler. Then we went to our favorite place: the Olympia Co-Op (yes, we do love grocery shopping together, and yes, we do choose to spend our time there!  Meandering down the aisles and getting ideas on all things local and organic. . . um. . . yes please!  Oh, and not to mention, not having a two year old red head running around!!)  Then we went to see Les Miserables.  Oh. My.  If you have not seen this movie, make sure you make that the next thing on your to-do list.  It is by far my new favorite movie. Of all time.

*Time for homesteading!  Jumping back into it tonight with homemade yogurt and homemade mozzarella cheese!  Tomorrow: maybe trying out some dried mangos in the oven?  Perhaps.
