LOVING seeing my husband and daughter reconnect. Just a moment ago, they left the house together, Tirzah in her polka-doted rain coat, helmet, black gloves, pink tennis shoes, and striped leggings and Daniel in his steel-toed boots and flannel coat, off for an afternoon on the new scooter. My heart swelled watching them go across the street to the park. I just sat at the window and watched in awe and in love. Daniel so full of confident parenting, just what this Mama has needed, and Tirzah, so full of passion and excitement for life, with a gallop to her step. Thank You.
LOVING the new scooter! Well, it is a hand-me down from our sweet friends Lucy and Alison, but it is brand new to Tirzah! She is LOVING life with this new mode of transportation and she is LOVING all the adventures that come with it.
LOVING Bible Study Fellowship this morning and the gift it is to go hear God's Word and to know that Tirzah is being introduced to Truth as well. LOVING her singing "This is the Day!" on the way back home, just relaxing and singing in her car seat.
LOVING that I didn't get a ticket when I was pulled over this morning! Just a tail light out. Whew!
LOVING Kisses from Katie. and the challenges it has brought to my mind and heart, also the convictions. LOVING those seasons in life, where almost everything you encounter points to the same thing. Has that ever happened to you? Daniel and I feel it happening to us right now, and how desperately we want to be open to and say YES to what it is the Lord would ask us to do. For example, the unity of heart and mind we both feel in simplifying, the desire in both of our hearts to be on land in the near future, the openness we both have towards missions, the perfect timing in reading Katie's book, the lecture from Bible Study Fellowship this morn. . . LOVING the sense of adventure we feel and LOVING the yearning that our hearts have to simply say YES.
"Just a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus."
