LOVING a morning spent sharing the glories of The Lord at sharing day at BSF. Alison and Lucy coming over to be with Tirzah for the whole morning. Walking in the rain. Drinking in that fresh air! Tears falling fresh upon my cheeks listening to the ladies sharing. The abundance of the luncheon at my leaders house. Rhubarb, fresh eggs, and a recipe card all tied together with raffia for a thank you gift.
LOVING resting. Crawled in our bed for an afternoon rest. Tirzah came in after her nap and we slept together! Never has that happened: such a gift.
LOVING a package from my Mama. Sunglasses for her. Napkins for me. LOVING 3 new ladies to add to our chicken flock: laying consistently!
LOVING Daniels birthday tomorrow! Preparations already being made. Using the biggest egg to come to Beginnings for day- before -birthday -cookies. Surprise! Huge egg ha 2 yolks in it!!
LOVING Daniel home early. Running around the house as a family. Husband mowing the lawn and me weeding. That sunshine that poured in this afternoon after a day of rain.
LOVING more and more this new place The Lord has us. Surprises abounding. Birds nest nestled amongst irises in the yard.
LOVING that tonight was the worst meal I have ever made. Too excited to be outside. Completely forgot about the rice. And beans were turned down to low and actually had not simmered for the past 2 hours. Burnt and crunchy rice with chalky beans. Yum! My husbands grace and laughter over it all. Chocolate chip cookies... Best batch ever to redeem myself.
