Well, part three to bring to you tomorrow on that crazy first day of piggies... This day has been long and I decided to take a nap while Little One slept this afternoon instead of blogging... And now I have the tea kettle on and fresh bread just about to come from the oven and I can't wait to have my nightly date with my amazing husband.
But really quickly, just before the steam whistles, I wanted to share of my beautiful day yesterday:
Waking to Tirzah jumping in bed at 7 am but being told by Daniel to sleep in.
Rolled out if bed at 8 after Tirzah came and gently woke me, to find a huge bouquet of wild flowers, hot biscuits and jam and fresh egg scramblers with hidden ingredients from the garden (like rhubarb and spring greens!!:)). Oh, and amazing coffee with cream and honey too.
Off to try a new church, just up the road and felt so welcomed and affirmed as a Mama.
Out for groceries and treats and home to bruschetta with herbs from the garden.
Naps for everyone!!
Toiling together as a family in the garden. I absolutely loved watching my husband till the land while he told a story to our daughter. How she sat and played with dirt and was completely immersed in his words. Complete contentment.
Dinner prepare by my love.
Off for an ice cream treat and Tirzahs first encounter with a waffle cone... Daddy and daughter went back for seconds! And shared a scoop of cotton candy in the third waffle cone of the evening.
Return home, to what I think is the end of a wonderful celebration, but am completely taken off guard when Tirzah gently washes my feet while Daniel reads the most beautiful and caring and "seeing" letter. Seeing in the sense that he wrote of his appreciation for all those things that go unseen every day while he is at work. How blessed I was and how blessed I am!
