This is What I'm Loving this day!
LOVING Tirzah's hair growing and growing. I think she looks like a little bug with the two little sprouts on her head. . . but we have been known to call her Joy Bug, so it fits!!
LOVING sending Daniel's second package today. LOVING too that there was a 3 1/2 pound bag of Sweedish Fish! I didn't bake anything for this package, just sent processed, processed, and even more processed sugar to my Love overseas. I wonder how long it will take him to get through that bag??
LOVING adventures in the kitchen. Tirzah loves Nutri-grain bars, especially the blueberry kind (did you know that blueberry is her absolute favorite?!) So, I thought I could try and make them myself. I followed the recipe from this site here, and actually made the "jam" to go inside! I simply took a little bag or organic frozen blueberries and added about 1/3 C of sugar and boiled it down. Upon looking in our fruit bowl, I added two peaches chopped up as well. And the smells were just delightful! I LOVED having her standing in her high-chair, chest resting on the counter, and her little hands and little mouth covered in the dough. She was LOVING life and so was I.
LOVING the thought of Greg and Marlene arriving in under two weeks now. And absolutely LOVING the fact that we are going to Hawaii!!! Two weeks from tomorrow we will be on our plane, jetting over to meet Renee on the islands. What a gift it is!
This was from 2 years ago when we were all there together. Little T is in my tummy!! So this will be her second trip to Hawaii, and she is not even 2 yet! What a lucky little traveler she is. |
Absolutely LOVING Tirzah's favorite deployment pastime: watching videos of Dada! I am going to try and record her enthusiasm sometime, because it is just out of this world cute. She sees the computer and then stutters her d's a little bit and finishing by saying DADA! So it is something like: "da da da da da da DADA!!" It is so beautiful to see that the Lord is knitting their hearts together, this daughter and this Daddy, even when thousands of miles and hundreds of days separate them. This is currently her favorite video to watch, taken in Georgia last October. Can I just say that I am LOVING her smile when her Daddy says her name. And I am LOVING her eyes as she watches Daddy and how they communicate: "There is no one in the world like my Daddy"
LOVING the gifts that are endless and the fact that counting them makes your perspective change:
