The Best Soldier.

I wanted to give a quick update concerning Daniel, his men, and his Captain, Captain Klein.

Daniel: is absolutely amazing.  I have received a few short emails from him since the incident of which I wrote, and last week I received the best call from him!  A midnight call! I truly had been expecting him to be of  a weary countenance, but he sounded so so good!  So in high spirits and feeling like this season of deployment is so close to being at an end.  A woo hoo!  To say the least he said it has been quite chaotic over there, BUT, he has been having a good time with his guys.  His mission right now is to "pull security" for another platoon while they build a road.  Security needs to be provided 24/7 for these guys and this responsibility has fallen to Daniel and his men.  When I asked about living in the stykers. . . ??  He said it wasn't so bad at all and that the guys he was living with, they were having a good time.  What a miracle!  My heart and my spirit felt so relieved after hearing his voice and knowing that all was well with him.  He TRULY is a hero, don't you think?!


And an update on Captain Klein.  Several days ago, while he was in Germany, he was taken off of life support and was still stable, thank the Lord!  So they flew him to Walter Reed, where he is now with his wife.  He has not yet been awake since they have been together, but at least they are indeed together.  Although the injuries are more extensive then she knew.  So please keep praying for them.
